David J. Von Steenburg, PLS

David is a professionally licensed land surveyor in New Jersey and New York and has been in the surveying profession since 1976. Dave has worked in many phases of land surveying from title surveys, construction layout, hydrographic surveys to large tract boundary surveys with topography.

Joining Morgan Engineering & Surveying in 2011, Dave is responsible for calculations, legal precedent analysis, addressing client, attorney, and title company questions, and reviewing all survey plans. He gives guidance to field crews for issues and situations they encounter onsite, occasionally providing live information to crews as to optimize work flows and schedules.

Dave has been married to the love of his life, Lorraine (Raine) since 1975. They have two sons and two grandchildren, David and Zoe, that are the light of their lives. He has a 12-pound rescue Chihuahua mix who has him wrapped around her paw and a 23-year-old African Grey parrot, Marlie, who keeps him extremely entertained. Dave enjoys reading and spends most of his time with the grandkids, being outside and flying his drone. He is a rabid Philadelphia Eagles, New York Yankees and New Jersey Devils fan.
